Alice Skye is taking her sophomore album ‘I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good’ to venues across the country this May 2022.

Presented by Bad Apples and Select Music the tour will see the Wergaia / Wemba Wemba storyteller showcase her latest body of work with headline dates in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Fremantle, Adelaide, Hobart and Melbourne, joined by special guest Madi Colville-Walker.

An artist at the dawning of a meteoric rise, Alice Skye has been making waves with her unique storytelling ability and magnetic songwriting. With each performance, Skye conducts an exercise on how deep into their own heart a listener can excavate. Once-private bedroom scribbles are presented as articulate lyrics on love, loss, and life, offering a looking glass into the world Alice Skye finds herself in. Skye’s album, ‘I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good’ (produced by Jen Cloher), sees her expanding sonic boundaries, bringing grungier, heavier flavours to the evolving sound, resulting in one entrancing passage after another.

Winner of ‘Best Pop Act’ at the 2021 Music Victoria Awards, this blossoming artist continues to openly synthesise her own life and times with profound finesse. The gentle moodiness of Skye’s songwriting is described by NME as “nuanced, open-hearted revelations”, and matched with a voice so hopeful and haunting, and dreamlike, the melancholy presented by Alice Skye could not be more inviting.
